Digital Bible

The digital companion app to The Preacher’s Bible was born through the original idea to be able to print specific, to-scale Bible pages to be used as drafts while writing outlines. From that initial, simple idea, this app grew to be something much more.

While it will have great value as an exact digital duplicate of the physical Bible layout, the app will have even greater use as limitless note and outline repository and will also grow to be the largest verse-by-verse Baptist commentary in existence. Below are listed the features:

Layout

Through this application, The Preacher’s Bible will be available on any device. Everything will look exactly the same, so you’ll have what’s familiar in front of you. Each page has the option to print individually; it prints with a border around it to the exact size of the Preacher’s Bible pages. In this way, you can take this newly printed page, cut it, and slide it into your physical Bible as if it was meant to be there. With this feature, outlines can be drafted before being permanently written into the actual Bible. The days of wondering why you wrote that erroneous note are over!

Notes

One of the biggest features of this app is its ability to store limitless notes. Once logged in, the user can tap or click anywhere in the page and enter notes or outlines into the text box that appears. Once finished, the text box can be closed and is reduced to a floating icon. This way, the page can be filled with as many reduced text boxes as one could desire.

Commentary

All notes can be tagged as either private or public. Public notes are visible by all users of the app. Smith and Jones Bible Publishers has been working to secure contribution by some of the greatest men of God of the 20th century. We have even secured the outlines and thoughts of some of the old preachers of yesteryear. As thoughts and devotions are entered into the pages of this app, one of the largest Baptist commentaries will eventually emerge.

Users may sort through individual contributors to determine whose thoughts they would like to read. They may also choose favorite authors to show up by default.

Quotes

In addition to public thoughts and outlines, there is an area dedicated to quotes. Thousands of quotes are available to read through and insert into an outline.

Compatibility

The Preacher’s Bible Companion App is a Progressive Web App which means that it is compatible with any device. Whether you have an iPhone or an Android or a Windows phone, it will work. Alternatively, any browser can be used to bring up The Preacher’s Bible as well.
